Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced that Hyderabad has gained recognition as the leading city for electric vehicles in the nation.

He pointed out that the city has achieved the highest sales of electric vehicles in India, and the State government plans to introduce 3,000 electric buses to the TSRTC in the near future.

The Chief Minister made these remarks during the inauguration of the "Bio Asia" 2025 conference held at the HICC in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

In his address, he noted that BioAsia has established Hyderabad as a global hub for life sciences, attracting individuals from across the nation and around the world.

"The conference also serves to guide the international community in shaping the future of the healthcare sector on a path of development," said Revanth Reddy.

The Chief Minister also mentioned that the State government aims to transform Telangana into a trillion-dollar economy.

Revanth Reddy announced that the government is launching several significant projects in Hyderabad, including Future City and AI City. He mentioned that a manufacturing hub is set to be established between Outer Ring Road and Regional Ring Road, outside the main city, which aims to become one of the largest manufacturing centers globally, catering to the needs related to the China Plus One strategy.

He further stated, "Telangana ranks first in India for attracting investments, both domestic and international. The state boasts the lowest inflation rate and the highest rate of job creation."
